My Project
My reading students are 8th graders who are not happy they're in an intensive reading class. Getting these kiddos motivated is my top priority. If I can motivate them with the snacks and bean bag chairs, they'll get on the road to reading on grade level in no time.
Motivated kids, learn quicker and are more engaged.
I want my students to be successful. To do that I need to motivate them to read in the intensive reading class. I am also their ELA teacher, so they get a double dose of me helping them during the day. I can motivate them with the snacks in intensive reading and then they'll be motivated to continue what they're learning to do well in ELA.
