Help me give my students t the foundational reading skills they are lacking. Dr. Seuss's writing style focuses on word families and rhyming words. These engaging stories will motivate my ESOL students to read.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are bright, motivated students. They are eager to learn English and subsequently read in English, as well.
Reading Dr. Seuss books will help the children master word families and rhyming words.
Themes such as protecting the environment and treating everyone fairly will be addressed
The books will be used for storytime , buddy reading, and small group differentiated instruction.
I look forward to including these books in our daily reading instruction. The boys and girls will definitely be motivated to read when this set of books arrives. Thank you.
