My Project

I'm asking for your help to provide my students with an opportunity to read "The Chocolate Touch" as a class. As you know, reading together as a group can be a powerful way to encourage discussion, build comprehension, and foster a love of reading. "The Chocolate Touch" is an engaging and entertaining story that I believe will greatly benefit my students, and I'm confident that it will be a valuable addition to our curriculum. "The Chocolate Touch" is a children's book, about a young boy named John Midas with an intense, but obsessive love of confectionery. The boy faces tough decisions to make regarding his health. This book will teach children how to deal with self-centeredness versus compassion.
