This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students stay with me for at least two years due to their placement. They like to talk with their peers and friends and we often discuss books. I currently have three different reading levels and it becomes difficult sometimes to have discussions when there is only one book. So this project will be for groups of two to read together and then hold a discussion about what they read. The books I have chosen are books of their interest and on their particular reading level which will help with student interest and discussion.

My students often learn from each other and with keeping the groups to two it will encourage them to talk more and ask more questions.
