This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are truly some of the most creative, resilient, sweet and bright children you could imagine. Their energy is contagious, and it is a joy to have the opportunity to watch them learn and grow. I am so grateful that I am one of their teachers.

Reading is an essential skill, and it should be fun, these tools will help me to make learning to read more exciting and engaging for my students.

These tools will allow us to play games like mega blocks sight word mapping and pop-it deciding! The flexible seating options will help wiggly students focus during small reading group sessions. I hope that as a result, they will not only learn to read, but learn to LOVE it too.
