I teach an amazing group of inner city children. I have a classroom of mostly BOYS! They are witty and resourceful!
My Project
With today's technology, children have a vast amount of online resources to help them learn and read. However, after teaching virtually for the past few months, I discovered that often their internet connections do not work as effectively as they should, and they cannot access many of the available online resources.
My students need decodable readers in hand.
I know it is critical that the foundations of reading be laid for these students which requires that they have the ability to practice often without hinderance. They need a physical book in their hands as I am teaching small group lessons and while they are reading at home. Many of them are well below grade level, yet they have the potential to accomplish so much! Help me help them!
