Explore, create, and play; these are just a few things my students love to do. They care a lot about each other and love making connections to our learning. They are truly a fun group to work with. We learn at a STEM school where we enjoy learning through discovery and applying new skills to real world learning opportunities.
My students are an energetic, compassionate, and imaginative group of kindergartners.
Many families in our school come from low income homes, so I want to help provide as many new learning opportunities as I can. I aim to have authentic learning experiences for my students, but providing these experiences requires resources we do not necessarily have. I love my students and their curiosity, so I appreciate your support to help further inspire these passionate learners.
My Project
These books will inspire students as we plan a camping day trip as well as make plans for families. As we learn about the needs of plants, animals, and the earth, we will also learn how to protect them.
These books will be great read alouds to support curiousity, understanding, and ideas as we learn about the great outdoors.
We will be planting in the garden, learning from plants hands-on and these books will aid in understanding. We will also be going on a day trip to not only experience camping activities but also learn about nature and how to take care of it. Again, these read alouds will help build understanding. We would love to have these books in our classroom to help inspire and build connections for our young conservationists.
