Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are incredible and inquisitive. This year, we are all embarking on a path into a new science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) based school. The kids enjoy working together and problem-solving with each other. These incredible kids take on challenges in ways that I have never observed before.

My students work together with me to build our school community.

I love how excited they are to learn and to come to school. They have my whole heart! I enjoy their energy and know that they will become great leaders in their future!

My Project

We have finally been able to get whole class sets of books to inspire students to make a difference and to connect to the standards. However, we do not have books to support novel studies.

I want books that inspire good change in this world, but that can reach various interests and reading levels!

Kids can do incredible things, and with the inspirational stories of other kids I hope my students will seek to make a greater positive impact on this world and to learn to be advocates for others!
