Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

My students are the most hard working students you will ever meet. They love coming to school to learn each and every day. As we approach the end of the year, I want them to remain engaged in their learning and continue to see them grow academically and socially. 3rd grade is a hard year as they learn so many new academic skills and transition from the primary grades.

Having engaging, hands-on activities is the best way for children to learn.

These literacy games will keep them engaged while also building their comprehension in reading to help them be successful, not only in school but in life. These board games will help them with some tough concepts such as using context clues and figurative language, which is also a struggle for my English Language Learners.
