My Project

When I taught Kindergarten, a book easel was part of the classroom furniture. This year I moved to First Grade and a book easel did not come with the classroom. In First Grade, as was in Kindergarten, our Language Arts anthology has big books for each week's lesson. The students love listening & looking at these big books.

With a book easel, I will be able to display big books for the week.

I will be able to stop & look with the students at each page. We will be able to read sentences together. The students will be able to look & read the big books by themselves.

This will be a great tool to help with the continued love of reading that my students have.
