My Project

By donating magazines to my classroom you will provide Scholastic News to my grateful English Language students of nonfiction and current events.

My goal is to provide on-level texts to engage my students, build language arts skills, and increase science and social studies knowledge.

The donation of magazines will significantly impact my students' learning by providing them with a diverse array of reading materials that cater to their individual interests and learning styles. These magazines will serve as valuable resources to supplement our curriculum, offering engaging content that enhances their comprehension skills, vocabulary development, and critical thinking abilities.

Our goals for this project include creating a dynamic and stimulating learning environment where students are encouraged to explore topics that intrigue them, expand their knowledge, and develop a lifelong love for reading. By incorporating magazines into our classroom resources, we aim to foster a sense of curiosity and intellectual curiosity among our students, empowering them to become independent learners who actively seek out knowledge beyond the confines of the classroom.

What makes my students special is their unique blend of backgrounds, experiences, and interests. They come from diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds, each bringing their perspectives and talents to our learning community. Despite facing various challenges, they demonstrate resilience, creativity, and a thirst for knowledge that continually inspires me. Through their determination and enthusiasm for learning, they exemplify the limitless potential that lies within each of them. I am committed to providing them with the tools and resources they need to succeed.

With this amazing subscription it will also include a digital library of hundreds of texts, videos, differentiation tools, and educational games that my students can use anytime, anywhere, and on any device. This will help my EL students make a connections with the world around them. Thank you!
