Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are strong, determined, and full of personality. Many of them haven’t connected with books in the past, but when they read something that feels real to them, they light up.
The Hate U Give is a story they can relate to, and it will help them think deeper and speak up.
The flip charts and posters will make reading and writing skills easier to understand and more hands-on. These resources will help them stay focused and feel successful in class. Please consider being a donor to this project; you will make a difference in the lives of our future scholars.
