My Students

My students this year are caring, energetic, and full of questions! This is the first year that this group of kids gets to have 1:1 technology in the classroom. With that, they are learning many new things computer related, and they are also experiencing a new way to learn!

What I love most about my students this year is how eager they are to try new things!

As a class, we have found new educational sites to use that are much more engaging than things they have done in the past. This is giving them a new look on education, and I can tell they are interested in what they are learning!

My Project

As a second year teacher, my classroom library is still lacking in certain areas. My students have already read many of the books in our library. They love when I get a new book or series to add to our classroom collection!

I want to provide my students with new books that will hook them!

It is important to me for my students to develop a passion for reading. I believe one of the best ways to do that is to find a great series! For that reason, these two series would be a great addition to our classroom library!
