My Students
When you walk into a classroom, you should automatically be able to sense what type of mood is set. My classroom feels more like a home than a classroom. Our class works together as a family and not just as individual students.
My third grade students are life-long learners. They enjoy coming to school and learning new things. They are able to come to school prepared to do their very best work. They work as a team in order to collaborate to meet their learning goals.
My Project
Reading takes us places. Whether it be in real life or just in our imaginations. Learning to read is a fundamental skill that all students should feel successful in. However, reading should also be enjoyable.
All readers are different and the books that they have access to should reflect those differences. I am asking for books to add to our classroom library that will reflect the different interests of my students. These books will also allow me to expose my students to various reading genres so they can find what fits best for them as a reader. I try to add fun and engaging books that are of interest to all of my students.
