This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

My students face extreme hardships daily in and out of the classroom, which interferes with their learning. Reading is a struggle for most of them and the barriers that they encounter can be hard to overcome. Despite this, they give me their 110% every single day and still want to learn how to read.

I'm trying to instill in my students a love for reading.

Getting interactive reading materials such as word building puzzles and interactive letter centers is the key to success for my students. These materials will help bring meaning to the words they see in their books. They will be able to work with their classmates to manipulate words while having fun at the same time. These materials will help build those skills needed for early reading success in a fun and engaging way. Won't you consider helping my students become Reading Super Stars?
