Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My super second graders are amazing! They always have huge smiles on their face and make my job so enjoyable. I love to see that lightbulb moment each of them have when they understand a new idea, lesson, or make a connection with a book/passage I am sharing with the class. They are all so eager to learn and very respectful of one another. We are a family in my classroom. I am very lucky to be able to do what I love each and every day.

My Project

These materials will help my students greatly this year. My students will be able to use the reading activities to work on their reading comprehension and reading fluency. My students can use the STEM materials to work on team building activities where they can collaborate with peers. These activities will also be great for the students to use as early finisher activities. The students can work on the activities with a partner or in small groups.
