Reading Spanish Books in Spanish Class!

Help me give my students an array of FVR Spanish readers with varying levels and topics because these books are written specifically for language learners that help students grow their literacy skills and acquire Spanish.

My Project

These books will give my students confidence in their Spanish reading skills. They will be able to truly understand what is happening. This confidence fuels their motivation and will ultimately help their literacy.

Spanish class is no longer about long vocabulary lists and grammar drills, but rather a focus on cultural and lingual proficiency!

These books will give my students the literacy skills necessary to tackle the more difficult readings in the higher course levels as well as introduce cultural topics in an engaging and easy-to-understand way.

Bilingualism has been linked to improved executive functions, academic achievement, improved reading skills, and increased cultural awareness. Help me nurture culturally-competent bilinguals who love reading!
