This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
All children can learn if strongly supported and enthusiastically encouraged. I believe when a learning environment with high expectations of achievement is introduced, perpetuated by the classroom teacher and supported by the school and community, students cultivate an "I CAN do it" attitude and perform to and beyond expectations despite challenges they may face.
As a teacher in a Title I school and a variety of different reading levels, I am challenged to develop and foster a high expectation/high achievement learning environment with children who may have been conditioned to believe that they aren't capable of high achievement.
With these resources, I will be able different skills and reach each child to their comfort level. The headphones will be of great use for small individualized instruction along with paper to create hands-on activities. Your support in helping change that is very much appreciated!
