Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My fourth grade students are enthusiastic and engaged children who are eager to gather knowledge and share their expertise with each other. They are kind, friendly, and have great hearts. They are invested in learning, reading, and growing as students.
My class consists of 29 phenomenal students.
Each special student has their own unique qualities that make up our genuinely energetic classroom. They exude hard working attitudes and strength in perseverance. Every student is an important member of our classroom community.
My Project
The collection of science books is a wonderful and engaging ways to make our tricky science standards accessible to my students. During our science units these books will be used in connection with our curriculum and will be available for students to read year round in our classroom library!
This exciting collection of books will get my students beyond the traditional text to help them understand the world of science!
They will use the books as read aloud and silent reading options. We will use them to help us cite text evidence and research interesting topics. The collection of books covered the whole year of science, so my students will have many interesting books to look forward to all year!
