Reading Round-Up: Raising Confidence and Reading Levels!

Help me give my students a variety of games, books and other tools to help them learn how to read, stay organized while learning and help their teacher stay organized, too.

My Students

I have a great group of second graders who are excited to be back at school! We all want to have a normal year full of enrichment and learning. I've found that many of my students are behind in their learning because of the past few Covid years. They need extra help to catch up on learning how to read. My goal is to have most or all of my students reading on level by the end of the year.

My Project

It's been very apparent that the past two years of schooling through the pandemic have hindered students' learning and confidence levels. I need many new tools to round up and catch those students who have fallen behind. The Decodable Readers, the Little Champions Phonics books, Phonics and spelling games, reading task cards, and teacher materials like the Big Book of Comprehension Reading Activities will assist me in helping each specific child in my classroom.

These requested resources will help my students get organized as they learn.

I want them focused, to have the right tools to help them with pencil grips, erase dot circles and new erase markers, a working pencil sharpener and other things to make my classroom run smoothly. They also are entertaining and focused on their learning levels. There are things for me to organize my reading materials with the label maker, the laminating pouches, a heavy-duty stapler, a wood literature organizer, and a 10 drawer rolling cart.

I hope that with these materials like the phonics flashcards, the 6 Blend and 6 Spelling games, the Reward punch cards will help my students show more interest in reading, will want to practice more with the games, books, cards, and worksheets, and they will all gain more confidence and motivation in their journey towards becoming excellent readers.
