My students need leveled sets of books for guided reading to increase their love of learning.
My students are eager to learn new things.
They are curious about the world and how things work. They love to read and are always asking for ideas for the next book to read. They attend a school that encourages community and building each other up. They are eager to learn new things.
My Project
This project is for creating a better book selection for my students during guided reading. Every day I work with leveled reading groups in my classroom. It is so important that each group has books on their level to help them learn to read and to enjoy reading. This project includes books on a variety of reading levels and genres to keep the students engaged in reading.
This project will greatly affect the lives of my students.
They will be exposed to books that they have not seen before and that will open the door for a love of reading. I am limited in the books that I have available, and this project will help to ensure that all of my students are reading and learning on a book that is on their level.
