Help me give my students a variety of amazing books to enhance our reading instruction. In addition, I am hoping for comfortable seating for my students!
I have just started a new year with a wonderful group of third grade students! This is such an exciting time of year because I am getting to know a whole new group of students. They are a fantastic group of kids. They are kind, funny, eager to learn, and have a great work ethic. Our days go so fast because we have so much fun learning together!
Within this group, I have 12 girls and 8 boys.
We are all part of a 2-5 campus.
My Project
In my teaching experience, I have found that the worksheet approach is not as effective as teaching reading skills through books. These books are amazing stories that will be used to teach lessons in my classroom.
The more you read, the better you get at reading.
I want to provide students with amazing books. I'm also working to provide comfortable seating for my students to read and do their work. They read independently for 30 minutes a day but can also move around to do their work. I just love helping my students learn to love to read and learn!
