My students need Chromebooks to work on literacy and math activities in the classroom and learn about how technology enhances our functionality!

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
We are the Panthers! Our school is located in Sunny Las Vegas. Our area is low income, but our school pride is on the high side! Our students come from all different kinds of families and we embrace our diversity by emphasizing the seven habits of happy kids.
My students love school!
Their interests range from basketball to Hop Skotch and their future career goals include: police officer, doctor, artist and fireman. Our favorite activity in the day is when we gather on the carpet to read.
My Project
Adding Chromebooks to our classroom will give my students the access to technology they haven't seen before as well as give them an opportunity to complete math and reading exercises in fun and interactive ways.
Kids will be thrilled to try out new technology!
My kids are currently using internet based learning programs as means of raising math and reading scores, but they are using outdated and slow desktop computers. Adding the functionality and mobility of Chromebooks to our class will ignite their curiosity of technology as well as get them excited about doing their math and ready activities everyday.
