Reading Response Journals

Help me give my students supplies to journal responses in reading, writing, and math! These resources will get students engaged and excited about reflecting on their learning!

My Project

Having these markers, sketch pencils, and supplies to respond to their reading and show what they know will be a key to high levels of engagement. Reflecting through journaling and using their creative minds will help motivate them to record their thinking and move to a higher level of learning.

Giving the students the tools and instruction is the first step, but for students to move to the second they need tools to be successful.

I will read aloud to them and inspire them not only in reading but writing to journal. Sketch out their thinking and write their narratives using rich imagery from their own experiences and imagination. What better way to get students to write with enthusiasm and rigor!
