A positive safe environment that promotes diversity, achievement, thinking, and great character. Everyone is welcomed daily at my door with my my mind, heart, and arms open. Thinking differently and offering students opportunities to practice making choices is huge in building good character because it is in a safe environment where you can address behaviors. Allowing them to choose and work in different stations and with groups, allows them opportunities to make choices. They are rewarded for modeling good character and developing habits of mind. This is definitely a step in the right direction for the future of these children.
