My Students

I am fortunate to be in year three of teaching the same Giants who I have seen rise through their time in middle school. Our Giants come from Texas.

Each day my students come to school eager for the opportunities that lie ahead, with an abundance of school pride and a love of learning that is contagious.

As founders of our school, they are dynamic leaders who day in and day out prove what it truly means to be Giants. They rise to every challenge, including being the largest ever incoming class in our district. As a founding class of unprecedented proportions, they deserve access to the tools all students need to succeed.

My Project

Each year, we set an ambitious goal of reading at least one million words. Looping up with my students, I am confident that every one of them will reach this goal, however, many of the titles on our shelves have already been thoroughly enjoyed in years past. Fortunately, new great titles are published every day, but we need your help in accessing them.

Our Giants are avid readers, and your donation will help put their next favorite book in their hands!

Help us keep our love of literacy alive by giving every student a book they can't wait to connect to, as well as bookmarks to reward them for reaching reading goals and stools to increase comfort during reading time.
