My fabulous early readers need more books at their level and above to help and inspire them to become better readers.
I am so lucky to teach in a fabulous city school in Maine.
I have a wonderful class of first graders who are inspired and ready to read. I would love for them to have more resources for them to choose from on their journey to literacy!
I am hoping to build our classroom library with several different levels of books to match all the reading levels within my student body.
My Project
Reading is an adventure. It can be an escape. It can be a learning experience. It can be all of these things and so much more. I want my students to have plenty of choices, at their ability levels and interests, to give them the gift of reading. Helping to fund this project will help to make this happen.

I hope to inspire my students to become life-long learners with the fabulous gift of books. Everyone wears a different shoe, just as every reader is at a different level. I want my students to have plenty of books that are the perfect fit.
