My kindergarten and first grade students are eager learners and are at the age where learning to read and reading are both impactful and important parts of each day.
This project requests reading manipulatives and materials that will support structured literacy instruction in my classroom - the foundation of learning how to read and supports the new reading and phonics mandates that my State supports .
Additionally, this project supports a new reading table as well as reading stools. These furniture pieces provide flexible seating and choice for my students as they engage in reading activities throughout the day. My young students enjoy individual choice and variety.
