My Students
My scholars are an energetic bunch of students in grades K-5 who have a love for learning and being active.These scholars come from low socioeconomic backgrounds where many of them are living with various relatives or in temporary housing. This year my students are facing the difficult task of coming back from the past year and a half of virtual learning.
My Project
Leveled libraries are a must in a primary classroom! My students are all engaging in reading at various levels and interests. These book libraries would allow each student to engage confidently in reading each day on a comfortable reading level. These books would allow them to read in small groups or with a book buddy. The titles I chose were based on the student interests in my classroom! I cannot wait to have my class improve their reading fluency and comprehension as they engage in reading a variety of new titles!
