Reading Pens: The Life Changer for Students with Dyslexia
My students need C-Pen Readers for the chance to be part of their classroom, the chance to be accepted by their peers, and the chance to gain confidence in their reading.
My amazing students work extra hard to be successful in school. They all have dyslexia, so they truly struggle with reading and writing. Luckily, they have accommodations to help them in the classroom.
This group of students never give up despite the challenges they face daily, and I'm inspired by their creativity to work around their struggles.
These awesome kiddos advocate for themselves, and have to spend extra time on assignments and tests. Teaching dyslexia therapy to them daily shows me how smart they are, and I love it when they make growth in their reading and writing.
My Project
Academic achievement is one of the many benefits my students will gain with the use of the C-Pen. The learning gains will sky rocket with this handy technology tool.
Providing all of my students with dyslexia an opportunity to use a C-Pen will increase confidence, independence, and success.
By having this pocket-sized gem at their fingertips, my students can be part of every assignment, chapter, novel, and test. Instead of relying on another classmate or teacher to read assignments and tests to my students, the C-Pen does it all! They will be able to work on grade-level texts without needing assistance.
It will be a life changer for all of my hard working kiddos.
