This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

My students work very hard each and every day to be independent and successful learners especially when reading is involved. While some students find this task of reading to be very easy, others find this task daunting and overwhelming. Struggling readers need assistance in many ways; however, these amazing pen scanner readers are a tool that could be placed in my student's hands to help them be as independent as possible!

Students with dyslexia and learning disabilities can use these amazing pen readers for everyday needs which will give them the power to navigate through all different sorts of text independently.

The right supports for differentiation can make all of the difference in building confidence, while still allowing my students to become fluent readers.

My goal is that every student never feels less than their best and that they can have the confidence to believe in themselves. This this is a talking device, the Bluetooth head sets will be used with the pens so they won't disturb other students while working.
