My Students

My students are among the 800+ students of our town's public middle school. Both culturally and economically diverse, one of our goals is to provide an education to serve all learners. Besides alternative seating, and a variety of classroom activities to engage students in learning, it is important to have high interest books to help readers connect with stories who have relatable characters.

In a town where free and reduced lunches are becoming more regular, it is important for students of this middle school classroom to have regular access to diverse books within their quality educational time.

My Project

Our classroom library needs your generous support! My classroom is full of students who would love to find their own "good fit" book to engage them and get their reading going.

By generously supporting our classroom, you are not only helping a teacher who loves her job, but you are helping students who need access to quality literature that is not readily available.

Having the ability to choose books that fit each individual's learning needs will encourage our middle school youth to become lifelong learners both in and out of the classroom. The donation may be small to you, but will mean the world to a group of learners who will truly appreciate such a library and will use it daily.
