Help me give my students new classroom books on gardening, cooking and social issues. We run a coffee cart for the staff and need the burr grinder to make the best coffee possible.
I have a great group of enthusiastic 9-12 grade Special Education students, most on the autism spectrum. We have a box in the school garden where we grow vegetables and run a coffee cart 2 days a week where we sell some class baked snacks and cups of coffee. The cookbooks and supplies will inspire our offerings.
By donating to my project you'll inspire gardening and cooking projects, help the students' vocational training, and help my students understand some of the important social issues from the past and present.
Since my students have a wide range of reading abilities, the books vary from picture books to books more at their grade level.
