My Students

Hello! My students live in a small town and are sometimes unable to afford extra experiences. My students are the embodiment of perseverance and persistence and I am so happy to help them achieve their goals.

My students have awesome potential and do a great job when as individuals and also in teams.

They love creating projects and working on their presentation skills in all subjects. Some of the upcoming projects will be brand new to my students through the world of STEM!

My Project

The books in this project will be used to assist students in understanding Growth Mindset that goes along with the STEM projects that we will be introducing this year in my 2nd Grade class. Growth Mindset is a way for students to use their basic thinking skills and develop that basic thinking into hard work using the Growth Mindset process. This process is all about having students take their time during new situations and truly think about what would be the best way to solve the task at hand. The tasks that students will be tackling will be STEM activities! STEM is a fairly new concept to the students so we can't wait for them to read about about new situations and how to solve them! We will need these books, along with storage for the books, and markers for anchor charts to show our thinking when reading the books.
