My Project

Inspiring Young Minds: Tools for Reading and Organization

I teach a wonderful group of first graders in an inclusion classroom, where every student brings their own unique strengths and learning styles.

My students are curious, eager, and full of energy, always ready to take on new challenges. They thrive when given the right tools to support their learning, and I want to ensure they have everything they need to succeed.

The resources I’m requesting will directly support my students in multiple ways. Decodable readers will help build strong foundational reading skills, giving my young learners the confidence to tackle new words and develop a love for books. Organizers and three-prong folders will help keep our materials structured, creating a more efficient and clutter-free learning environment. A visual timer will assist students with time management, helping them stay on track during activities and transitions. White-out is an essential tool for correcting materials, ensuring that our resources remain neat and usable throughout the year. And of course, snacks will keep little minds fueled and ready to learn, especially for those who may not always have access to extra nourishment at home.

My goal with this project is to create a well-organized, supportive, and engaging classroom where every child has access to the tools they need to thrive. With your help, we can provide an environment that nurtures literacy, independence, and confidence for all my students.
