This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This year I finally got the opportunity to teach a Native Class. My students are eager to learn. All students want to travel the world and by reading novels in their target language Spanish they can explore a wonderful world of literature. Reading meaningful novels in Spanish will inspire these young minds to immerse themselves in worlds similar to their own lives and gain insight into how to overcome similar struggles. Gabriel García Márquez short stories will allow my students to emerge in the magical realism that Márquez provided in all his short stories.

Support me in providing the novels so all my students can begin traveling the magical world of literature.

This is the second round because I need a total of 35 novels. Thank you for supporting us in this reading journey.
