My Students

I teach 20-50 2nd graders each year in a rural Title I school in Oklahoma. My students area full of energy and excited to see and do new things in class. These students come to school and try their hardest everyday!

My Project

In 2nd grade students really become readers! They begin to love to read and get to explore new worlds within books! Unfortunately do to sickness/Covid the past couples years, my students have missed out on getting to visit our school library. Teaching at a smaller school our librarian is pulled to substitute more often then not. So because of this unfortunate situation my students are missing out on exploring the new places in their imaginations. I want to spruce up my classroom library so when this happens my students don't miss out on reading opportunities.
