Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students love to read and love to read graphic novels, manga, fiction, and nonfiction. They are always looking at the new books that have been purchased for the library to read the next book in a series they love or to read a new fiction story or to read about a nonfiction topic they want to learn more about for their own enjoyment.

These books will add variety to the school library, and when students come to the library and see these on the New Book display, they will look through them and check them out to continue their reading of these series and to read new stories and gain new knowledge about these topics.

All new library books added to our collection will give my students more variety and more books to enjoy when they are reading for pleasure. The nonfiction books will give my students more available options for when they are conducting research for a class project or just want to read about a topic that they are curious about and can learn more facts.
