My Students
My school is a low economical status school. More than 70% of my class receives free or reduced price lunch. My 5K classroom, at this school, will have 25 eager to learn five year old students. They come from different backgrounds but have the love of learning new information in common. For many of these students, it will be their very first experience in a school setting. I know with your help, it will be a wonderful experience for these kids!
My Project
Kindergarten is the first time most students receive a structured learning environment. It is my job as an educator to make sure I am doing everything possible to ensure this.
I believe these leveled texts will help guide them in their journey of becoming successful readers. These materials will definitely make a difference in my classroom by engaging my students in reading for enjoyment and to gain new information. With the right resources, curriculum, and teaching, my students can achieve any task that may come their way. I hope you find it in your heart to help my kindergarten students.
