Help me give my students a nice reading nook that will help make reading fun instead of really difficult and unenjoyable.

My Project

I work in a high need school and just switched to self-contained, so my kids are with me almost all day.

I will dedicate a corner of my room to become a bright, happy reading nook.

I have selected a set of phonics books to help them practice specific skills we work on, a bookcase, comfy seating, and book bins to help them find books on their level and enjoy their reading.

There are also headphones to help my students listen to books on their grade level which will boost self-esteem and have more reading conversations with their same-aged peers in general education.
