My Project

I want to create a reading nook to support literacy based intervention for my students receiving Spanish speech therapy.

Early literacy intervention is important for developing language skills and creating lifelong readers!

My students love listening to stories and growing their skills; I know a reading nook would be a fantastic addition to help them achieve their goals! I work with Spanish-speaking students with needs in developing their receptive language, expressive language, pragmatic language, articulation, and fluency skills. I work with students with a variety of needs, but I know that all students are capable and all students should have access to quality literacy instruction.
