Reading Motivation

Help me give my students bookmarks and small wrapped candies for when they check out a great book.

My Project

My students are constantly requesting the "good" bookmarks (the smelly ones). I use them to motivate students who check out books. When they come back to turn their book in and tell me about it, they get a small piece of candy.

It's funny how something so small can make such a big difference.

My students will run to the library to tell me about the book they're reading just to get a lifesaver or tootsie roll.

I try to keep these items in stock, but I'm running very low. If this project is funded, it will be used to replenish my stash at both our elementary and high school campuses.
