My Project

For this March, I would love to help students have a memorable March's Reading Month. New books, a lamp for the reading corner of our room, and headphones for our online read-aloud's and reading practice.

These are all things that will help enhance the students' reading experience throughout the month and through the remainder of the school year.

Reading is such an important part of my class that I want to push the kids to find their love for reading and what works best for them. Adding more books to our classroom library is giving them more routes and pathways for students to find that love, giving them flexible seating and the lamp to give them a comfortable place to read that's quiet and cozy. And the headphones will help greatly when the students read with an online program we use in class for our curriculum. All our headphones are older and run down. They will help the kids connect better and read more efficiently.
