My Project

Although I teach science, one of my biggest passions as a classroom teacher is helping students to love reading. I genuinely believe that every student can learn to love reading once they find the best book for their tastes and interests. I have spent the last several months fundraising to increase the diversity of books in my classroom library across all genres and identities. I am proud to now share a library with my students where they can see themselves represented in fantasy, science fiction, realistic fiction, graphic novels, picture books, and more!
