Help me give my students these mascots that go with their new reading units of study and help my students integrate reading, writing, and social emotional skills.
These reading mascots go with the reading units. Students will be able to read with the mascots and the mascots will also guide the students through some reading lessons. Students with social and emotional needs also enjoy reading to stuffed animals.
The students love using mascots to help them read.
Mabel, Gus, and Rasheed are integral members of the kindergarten, first grade, and second grade reading lessons.
The students want to dress up the mascots for occasions such as publishing parties, school-wide events, and Halloween. Teachers have also found that Mabel, Gus and Rasheed are so popular, kids are demanding they participate in other parts of the day such as read-aloud, shared reading. We can't wait to get these reading mascots.
