This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students love to read. The Junie B Jones book series is a great tool for me to use in fourth grade to introduce chapter books. The kids enjoy reading them while they still have some pictures and large print to look at. By the end of the year the students are hooked on chapter books and enjoy relaxing with a book.
I try to create a relaxing environment where the students can curl up and enjoy a book.
Once my students graduate from fourth grade, I hope they graduate with a love of reading.
