My Project

I have the privilege of working on specific reading needs with students from all elementary grade levels. My role as a reading intervention teacher requires me to be very strategic and make the most of the intervention blocks for each grade level. I want my classroom to feel welcoming and inviting, and especially comfortable, so that my students can truly focus on their specific goals. The stools will allow several students to sit comfortably at a small group table, and should accommodate many grade levels.

The additional fluency workbook will be a tremendous supplemental fluency resource for older students.

There are more phonics and fluency resources available on Teachers Pay Teachers that I'd love to acquire and add to our reading lab. I'd also like to build a collection of highly motivating phonics and foundational reading games, as incentives for hard work in the reading lab, and another way to make it an enjoyable classroom setting. It is a necessary but wonderful task to provide a successful reading program, and in my case, work alongside general classroom teachers to help all of their students become readers!
