Reading is good for the soul. Reading can help students go into a new world and learn about a different way of life. My students tend to be limited in experiences so I would like to help them develop a new understanding of the world. Reading the fictional book will help the student develop an imagination, show them a new way of thinking, and help them become a lifelong learner.
Reading is needed for every subject and every job in the real world.
Reading fictional books helps the students soar to new heights, and gives them a chance to escape reality for a little while. When we activate their curiosity and let them know that there is a big world out there then they will want to read and explore more. Encouraging them to read helps them grow in their understanding of the world.
This new thinking could lead to our next great invention because a book activates the student's imagination. Added books to the classroom library give them something interesting to talk about and share with others. As the students learn new things about the world, they share this knowledge and encourage the next student to read. Students want to learn about the world around them and the new books will help fill that desire.
Students need to keep reading and they would read more if they had interesting books in the classroom to help them become lifelong learners.
