Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students come from a variety of different backgrounds and abilities. They work so hard and they are so motivated. They truly love learning and are passionate about growing and becoming better readers. They work so hard and the truly do their best to persevere through challenges. Although many of them come from challenging situations and poverty stricken communities they don't allow that to stop them.
My Project
These resources will help the children get a stronger grasp on their letters and sounds. It will help them become stronger readers. Learning the letters and sounds, and how to properly manipulate the sounds will strengthen their ability to read. Once they become stronger readers it will build their confidence and allow them to be stronger in all subject areas. All subjects have reading at their fundamental core including math. Every path in life requires people to be able to read. With your help we can give the students the tools that they need to be successful in life. Reading isn't an optional skill, it is a necessity.
