I am looking to build my classroom library with stories that will spark student interest and build a joy for discovering new stories. Fly Guy books are great for beginning readers and include many engaging story lines. I hope by adding these to my collection to spark an interest in reading for fun among my upcoming class of students.
Finding a joy in reading can encourage a student to become a stronger reader.
With my move to first grade next year I am looking to add some lower level books to my classroom library and try to appeal to all students with interesting stories and characters. These books will be available for students to use in the classroom when they complete work early or to use during independent reading practice time. I look forward to being able to provide a solid reading foundation to my students and help them grow.
